Video from Afghanistan

I found this going through an old hard drive yesterday. I have no idea how I missed it all of these years but I am so thankful I found it, along with five other videos I had never seen.

Even now, nine years later, I have a hard time comprehending the journeys, hardships and complexities of life but I am thankful for them because they have helped me evolve into who I am today.

It is pointless and impossible to convey the meaning of this video in a single post so I will just say I am thankful to be able to share a small part of the journey of me and my fellow Marines.

The Marine with me in the video is Nick (nickname “Freezer” from the difficulty of saying his last name). He is from Plymouth, Massachusetts and he is one of the greatest Marines I had the pleasure of serving beside.
